Objective

SaveFirst trains college, graduate, and law students to provide free tax preparation services and opportunities for savings and economic improvement to low-income, working families—especially targeting those eligible for an Earned Income Tax Credit refund.

From two cities in our first season to eleven cities in our third season, SaveFirst continues to grow in our fourth season to sixteen sites in fourteen cities. We are currently working with new campus partnerships to extend our reach throughout Alabama, serve more working families, and begin to assist previously underserved rural populations.
